haerdalis: (Haer'Dalis)

"Someday I should like to see you in your full armor, you might make quite the dashing knight in shining armor so to speak." In his time traveling the planes, Haer'Dalis had seen many wondrous things and the way she spoke about classified operations, leaving her planet, and the name Spartan? He suspected she was much more than simply a knight from some world's royal guard, she was much more likely a special agent for the most extreme and dangerous cases her world had to offer... or perhaps even her galaxy. For any other from Toril or the prime material plane this might be a rather difficult concept to swallow, but Haer'Dalis?

"Ah, a Rose by any other name is just as sweet no? Daisy then, if you would like to know more about this bard I can tell you now there is more to tell than one evening could encompass, and much of it almost as secretive and dark as your own past perhaps." If there was one thing Haer'Dalis was good at, it was filling in missing pieces, and the fact that she even had classified information she could not tell him spoke volumes about the kind of work she'd had to do in her lifetime. He respected her for it, but he fully knew now rather than simply suspected that the skill behind her muscles could turn a man to pulp.

"I am an actor and a poet, a composer and a musician, but beneath this pretty poet's skin, I am a planeswalker and a doomguard. Above all, I am a tiefling: I am a half-elf and while my father was of the fair folk, my mother was no human. Perhaps you might consider me to be alien in that regard, but I assure you that humans have also reached corners of the cosmos many have not even begun to dream of." He did actually take a swig from a bottle of liquor after that, as his past was hardly pretty and most likely quite a fair bit darker.

"Tell me Daisy... you are a warrior, have you seen war? True war? They say that war is hell, but imagine if you will a war in hell, where hordes of demons fight hordes of devils in a never ending onslaught of order versus chaos? I have fought on the front lines in the Bloodwar, using blade and song to scatter my enemies and slice them to ribbons, only for hundreds more to take their place. I have seen more ugliness and beauty in my time than many a poet could dare to dream of, and yet I always yearn to see and to learn more of what the vast universe has in store." He placed the empty bottle down on the bar, starting to feel delightfully numb and definitely noticing the way she seemed to enjoy teasing him with that impressive bosom of hers. Perhaps it was intentional, or perhaps not, but he was enjoying it either way.

"As to how a bard can make people move at will? They say elves have always had an affinity for enchantment and charms, using that to sway the hearts and minds of others like some bewitching fey, but my skill is something that I have learned through years of practice alongside my fellow tieflings. Any bard can move people through the power of song, it simply requires the right soulful melody to play upon the mood of those around them. It's easy to bend someone's will to do something that can be but a latent desire until you pluck the right heartstrings, but to make someone do something against their own will? That is a horse of a different color, or so the old saying goes. It takes most skilled bards centuries of practice to master that particular trick, but a bard tempered by war? Well... he might learn it in but a few years time." It was fascinating really. Daisy said so little but Haer'Dalis was able to infer so much from it, so he felt the need to say so much to let her know almost just as much... and yet unless she was familiar with the planes she would probably know even less about him than he had learned about her.

Daisy sighed, and shook her head, "you wouldn't be able to tell me apart from other Spartans in full armor." She then turned to the man with a smirk, "it would be funny to see you accidentally hit on the burliest guy Spartan, though."

In a strange way... it felt good to be flirted on. Adored. Told she is beautiful... Her arms then rested over the bar, as she continued.

"Disappointingly? I am a human," she didn't reveal why or how she got that strong, "but... yes." She resisted the urge to rest her chin over the bar, as she thought of the days before this cruiser.

Seven years. That was how long the war took, and with no end in sight.

"We were at war with an alien collective. The Covenant. A group of races that declared humanity heresy. They have declared total war on humanity," eyes turned glassy for a moment, glancing up, as she combed her blond hair aside. Her voice sounded solemn. Without the teasing. "We have lost a lot. But so have they. We have achieved victories. We've learned of commanders we've shamed from their defeats to be sent off to be tortured for their failures. But in five years, it hasn't stopped."

She wanted many times to be part of the handful exception to Spartans not drinking. But they knew well the risks.

Daisy then glanced up at Haer'Dalis, and rose a hand above him to keep him in balance, "sometimes I would sneak off and consult the library for fairy tales and shit when I was a little kid," she said with half the honesty, "and it was actually fascinating... but I never thought I'd actually meet a pier piper head on."

She pressed her big chest against the table, and poked Haer'Dalis' forehead.

"You never know, perhaps I'd find them equally as dashing." Haer'Dalis chuckled, toying with the top of his bottle between two fingers. He wasn't exactly the most bisexual tiefling on the planes, but when many of the entities you might take as a lover were so alien, you don't always become so choosey about genders. In Daisy's case, he had more than enough reason to find her exceptionally attractive, but that could possibly apply to many of the Spartans. He suspected she had a much more playful and rebellious side than most of the other warriors in her team, so he would probably be quite glad he was meeting her rather than Master Chief.

"Contrary to what you may believe, I find humans to be far from disappointing. Plentiful you may be, but humans are one of the most adaptive and innovative species I have had the opportunity to meet. Perhaps that raw potential is what scared this covenant, because there is nothing quite as fanatical as religious fanatics. At least your war is one I think you can have pride in having fought, protecting your entire race from extinction is a noble cause. I was drafted into a war as pointless and endless as the hells ever are, and yet through that war I learned more than I had in any of my other years of life. War may be hell, but they say that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger and I believe that those who survive war are not merely strong of arm... but of heart." Haer'dalis leaned closer and laid his hand against Daisy's heart... which was also conveniently between her impressive breasts.

He withdrew his hand, but only so that he could wrap his arm around her shoulder. "I think I've learned quite a bit more about you in just a few seconds than I had initially anticipated I'd learn Daisy. So tell me, are you still interested in my procuring a flute for you to play melodies to entrance the masses? And would you perhaps be willing to let me learn a bit more about the intricacies of your heart?" He arched an eyebrow a bit suggestively at that last part, since he had laid his hand upon her heart mere moments before and was subtly implying he could go further but was first and foremost... a gentleman.

Adaptive. Innovative, instead of imitative. Daisy remembered hearing the same line mentioned regarding humanity in comparison to the Covenant. Who in spite of suffering great losses at times, never once changed their strategies. Sometimes... it seemed humanity was indeed blessed with that same creativity, given the fanatical idiocy of their enemies.

She turned and lowered her blond head to let his hand caress it if he wanted. Daisy had a long, tumultuous life, with regrets and revelations she had told nobody. But she could be proud for what she was doing. Finding a purpose in spite of it all.

Her body slowly moved towards his hand, in turn, almost an invitation to grab them if that hand remained too long in there. When an arm wrapped around her shoulder, Daisy leaned forward until his hand lowered once again. This time, her chest pressed against the hand, allowing it to grope them. At first sight, breasts only appropriate for someone two meters tall. But Haer'Dalis' hand would not be able to grope and hold one massive mound from a massive woman.

"You will have to earn that knowledge. There are things you won't ever know. Out of respect for my friends," Daisy said as she pressed her chest further on, until it mushed against his body. Her blond head leaned against his, "but for a start... I like teddy bears, gardens, and fairy tales."

He certainly was tempted to grope and to caress and outright bury his face in her breasts, no matter their size they were still impressive for elf standards. Yet rather than let his hand grope those breasts he slowly let their bodies mesh together into a warm embrace, so that her chest was pressing up against his own, the added height of the bar helping Haer'Dalis be at the proper height so his face wasn't buried in her bosom. He let both arms slip around her, and hold the strong beautiful woman warrior in his arms, feeling... perhaps the first sparks of love? It was hard to say... but she was certainly the kind of woman that inspired bards like him, and their physical attraction seemed to be mutual in this instance.

"Ah my lovely flower, it seems that while the secrets of your heart may be kept tightly within your breast, the secrets of the body long to be uncovered. One could say I am a living fairy tale, a gypsy and a wanderer of the planes of existence themselves, and sometimes my heart yearns for things I know I can never have. Tell me my dear flower, aren't you the slightest bit concerned about the idea of being pollinated by this buzzing little bee? Because given the chance, I would leap through the fires of hell just to caress your fair skin, and to kiss your tender lips." He kissed her neck rather than her lips, planning to slowly tease her and work his way up to that so he might be able to convince her to take them somewhere a bit more private.

It seemed odd in some respects, but he sort of fancied the idea of her sweeping him off his feet. Perhaps it was because she was two feet or so taller, stronger, and in his mind, a knight in shining armor. She probably would never be able to dispel him of that particular fantasy.

Daisy's breasts pushed against his chest, pressing and mushing up. She arced her waist towards him as his arm wrapped around her. Either on a show of attraction or domination, Daisy leaned her forehead onto his, hiding her surprise at the fact he didn't grab her -- and halfway satisfied she tried establishing that dominance at first.

She extended her neck to her lips. Her right hand combed his silvery hair, and her left held him tightly, "I make my own fate. I've long since decided that," she said, "but I have no intention of making a family yet, if that's what you're asking.... I wouldn't be a good mother."

The amazon slowly stood up, breasts grinding upwards, pressing against his upper chest, then his neck, and finally his mouth and chin.

"But who's saying who's pollinating who?"
