Off in the corner, sitting on a party table surrounded by platter upon platter of fish is a very happy looking blue cat with a fish in his mouth. You may feel free to talk to him, ask him questions, or do whatever you like so long as you're willing to suffer the consequences of the action.

"YAAHOOOOOO! This is my kind of fiesta!" How can he not sing it to the world? He grabs a bottle of champagne since it's there and finds his way over to the gatito.

"Son of a gun, it's great to meet you! Absolutely fantastico," he says, and will grab Happy's hand and shake the hell out of it he can. "But tell me, amigo! When do the dancers come in?"

Meow, meow, meow, everything is happy because Happy has a fish, Happy is so happy because that's his only wish~ There's this little ditty going through Happy's head that has him rather distracted and then...

"Wh-Whaaaa?!" What the? Oh!

"Oh! Um... Hello! Yes, good to meet you... Señor?" Spanish was not exactly his specialty, but it did sound as if this brilliant colored bird was definitely a proud Spaniard who spoke his native tongue in spite of the ships automated translators allowing him to speak English.

Happy looked around trying to figure out where the dancers were... was there dancers? Where was the dancing? This was a party, there should be dancing right? They had the music.

"Hmm... It seems Loretta our ship's dance instructor isn't here yet!"

Spaniard?! Lucky for you that he can't read minds otherwise it might not be a pretty ending! However he is not and so he continues to be cheerful.

"Loretta." He considers the name. "But, Señor, surely you have more dancers than one? I'm looking for the ones that go cha cha cha and shake shake shake and maybe have a little samba or two, eh? Show a little leg. Pretty Señoritas."

Happy is totally clueless when it comes to different world's cultures let alone different countries, so the nuance would be lost on him, and would be like trying to tell him that Americans aren't British. He was about to get back to his fish when he brings up an interesting request.

"Loretta does the cha cha cha and shake shake shake! She doesn't really show any leg though, so you've got me stumped there..." Hmmm... He's just going to quickly inhale this fish and pick up another one before he can get interrupted again.

"If Mira were here she might do the leggy dancing. She's really pretty and super nice, but I haven't seen her since I taught school back in Fairy Academy."

"Caramba. No, no that's no good. You can't have a big fiesta with only one dancer who doesn't do the leggy! Listen, we gotta turn this boat around. Find some nice port or something to let on board some people who can really liven the place up!

Maybe, hey, Acapulco Beach! That place is fantastico! The sun! The sand! Or Cancun! I bet you can find a pretty little gatita for yourself there. But then you'd have to share the fish."

He can't blame them. There doesn't seem anything appealing about fish. But then he's not a gato.

"Ay, cheer up! There's got to be something they want! You just got to find it and give it to them! Have you tried singing them a song? Giving them flowers? Something like that?

"... You think so?" He has tried the flowers, but he's never thought to try the singing thing before... that might work.

He's just going to clear his feline throat, and go back to his platter of fish. "Well I wish you the best of luck in finding the señorita of your dreams mi amigo, but this cat is a bit too old and tired to be chasing balls of yarn like a kitten. I'm willing to wait and see if the right one comes along, and make do without until then."

"I already have the señorita of my dreams. I know every inch of her and she still surprises me. Her cities, her towns, her long days, her sweet nights." He sighs gustily just thinking of her.

"But that is sad for you. I'll tell you what! I'll bring the women to you, eh? There's got to be some who like fish. And it shouldn't be too hard to find! Maybe a few more who like leggy dancing and a bit of cha cha cha! What do you say?"

"Sounds to me like someone's in loooooove with their home~" Old and given up on finding his own love life he may be, but encouraging other people's love lives is one of the main reasons he accepted this job.

"Maybe. I'm only interested in cats though, humans, birds, and countries aren't my thing." Which isn't to say there haven't been humans that have been good friends of his, or tried to use their charms on him, they just don't do anything for him like that.

Happy is contentedly nomming when he looks up and spots their resident dance instructor, and blinks in surprise. "Oh hey! There was this cock who was looking for you."

"Oh. What do nagas do?" Since he seems very educated on this!

"Huh... I never really thought of that... what do Nagas generally eat anyways?" Please don't say cats.

"....I don't know. I don't remember. I eat meat, though. Lots and lots of meat." She licked her lips at the thought of it.
